About OwnersLand
Who we are
OwnersLand is an online property marketplace operated as part of the All Farmers, One Platform network. We trade under the domain ownersland.com and the site is open to the public every day of the year. Owners, landlords and estate agents advertise what is for sale or to let, and buyers and tenants approach them directly — without an auction house, a chain of intermediaries or a commission on the sale.
Members come to us to find working farms and smallholdings, agricultural and amenity land, rural houses and cottages, barns and conversion projects, and commercial and industrial premises. Every message that reaches our team is answered by a person, on business days.
What we do
- We publish and moderate a public board, so that a listing shown on it is genuine, priced and placed by an identifiable member.
- We state the details a property buyer actually needs — tenure, approximate area, access and asking price — in the listing itself, not behind a phone call.
- We give each member one account that carries across the whole partner network, so a single registration is enough to trade on every site of the group.
- We answer enquiries from buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants, and we remove listings that break our rules — see the Terms & Conditions.
- We keep the platform available, backed up and secured, and we publish how personal data is handled in our Privacy Policy.
How a deal happens
An owner or agent places a listing. A buyer or tenant reads it and sends a message from the listing itself. The parties agree price, access and terms between themselves and instruct their own solicitors or conveyancers to carry the transaction to completion. OwnersLand introduces the parties and nothing more: it never takes custody of a property, never holds the purchase price or the rent, and never becomes a party to the contract that the two sides make with each other.
What we charge
Browsing, listing and messaging are free. We take no commission when a property sells or lets through the board. Where we introduce a paid feature — a promoted placement, a bulk upload, an agency account — the price appears on screen before you confirm it, and no payment is taken until you start it.
Our standards
- Every listing is reviewed, and any member can report one that looks wrong.
- Descriptions, prices and photographs must match the property actually offered; an illustrative image must be marked as such.
- We do not sell personal data and we run no advertising trackers.
- Listings state what is being offered — freehold or leasehold, the term and rent of a lease, the approximate area and any rights that affect the land.
Where we are going
The network behind OwnersLand exists so that an owner, a farmer, a landlord or an agent does not have to explain themselves twice: one account, one profile, and a board for each trade. This site is published in ten languages, and we add features as members ask for them.
